Post-wise Qualifications:

• Staff Nurse: B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from recognized institution with registration in State/Indian Nursing Council
• Health & Malaria Inspector: Diploma in Public Health/Sanitary Inspector or Health Inspector course with registration from State Board
• Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) or B.Pharma from recognized institution with registration in State/Central Pharmacy Council
• Lab Technician: Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or B.Sc MLT from recognized institution
• Radiographer: Diploma in Radiography Technology or B.Sc in Radiography from recognized institution
• ECG Technician: Diploma in ECG Technology or equivalent from recognized institution
• Other Paramedical Posts: Relevant diploma/degree in the respective field from recognized institutions

Nationality

Candidates must be:

• A citizen of India, OR
• A subject of Nepal, OR
• A subject of Bhutan, OR

How to Apply

2. Registration: Click on "Apply Online" link for CEN 03/2025 Paramedical posts and complete one-time registration with basic details, email ID and mobile number
3. Login Credentials: Note down your registration number and password sent via email/SMS for future login

Selection Process

The selection for RRB Paramedical CEN 03/2025 comprises the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Single-stage objective type examination covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and specific technical knowledge related to the paramedical post applied for. CBT is qualifying and marks are normalized across different sessions.

1. Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted based on CBT performance (in the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 of vacancies) are called for document verification. Original certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, caste certificate, experience certificates, registration certificates with respective councils, and other eligibility documents are verified. DV Admit Card is mandatory for entry.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully complete DV undergo detailed medical examination as per Railway Medical Standards. Fitness is assessed based on vision, hearing, general physical fitness, and absence of disqualifying medical conditions.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on normalized CBT marks subject to qualifying DV and medical examination. Merit list is prepared category-wise and zone-wise based on vacancy availability.

1. Appointment: Selected candidates receive appointment letters and are posted to various railway zones/divisions based on merit, preference, and vacancy position.

Document Verification

Staff Nurses can get promoted to Senior Staff Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and Chief Nursing Superintendent positions through departmental examinations and seniority. The RRB Paramedical CEN 03/2025 DV Admit Card will be released on the official RRB website approximately 7-10 days before the scheduled document verification date. Candidates must login to the RRB portal using their registration number and password to download the admit card. The DV admit card contains details of document verification date, time, venue address, reporting time, and list of documents to be carried. No postal dispatch is made and candidates must download and take printout of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof for entry.

CBT results are typically declared within 30-45 days after the examination, published on the official RRB website with normalized marks and category-wise cutoff. Final result after document verification and medical examination is declared within 60-90 days, containing roll numbers of selected candidates along with their allotted railway zones. Results can be checked by entering registration number and date of birth on the RRB portal, and scorecard showing subject-wise marks and overall performance can be downloaded for future reference.

RRB Paramedical CBT cutoff marks vary based on post category, vacancy, difficulty level and number of candidates. Typically, for Staff Nurse positions, UR category cutoff ranges between 55-65 marks, OBC 50-60 marks, SC 45-55 marks, and ST 40-50 marks out of 100. For other paramedical posts like Pharmacist and Lab Technician, cutoffs are generally 3-5 marks lower. Cutoffs vary significantly across different railway zones based on regional competition and vacancy distribution.
