Who is this scheme for?
20 lakh youth aged 15-45 over 2023-24 to 2025-26 — short-term skill training (STT) + recognition of prior learning (RPL) in 30+ sectors including AI, IoT, drone tech, robotics, digital marketing.
Benefit amount & what you get
FREE training of 200-600 hours + skill certificate + ₹1,500-2,500 monetary reward on completion + employment / apprenticeship linkage. Industry 4.0 modules now included.
Eligibility criteria
Indian citizen 15-45 yrs with at least Class 5 education. Currently unemployed or wishing to upskill. Aadhaar mandatory.
How to apply — step by step
Register at skillindiadigital.gov.in → choose nearest PMKVY training centre + sector + course → batch assigned in 15 days → complete training + assessment → certificate issued in 30 days.
