Who is this scheme for?

18 traditional artisan and craft trades — carpenters, blacksmiths, potters, tailors, washermen, barbers, gold/silver smiths, etc.

Benefit amount & what you get

Collateral-free loan up to ₹3,00,000 at 5% interest (Phase-1: ₹1L, Phase-2: ₹2L) + ₹15,000 toolkit incentive + 5-7 day basic + 15-day advanced skill training with ₹500/day stipend + recognition certificate + Digital ID card.

Eligibility criteria

Any Indian artisan ≥18 years from one of the 18 notified trades. Self-employed. Not received similar credit under PMEGP, PM SVANidhi or Mudra in last 5 years.

How to apply — step by step

Visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) → Aadhaar-based biometric registration → upload trade proof + bank details → 3-tier verification (Gram Panchayat → ULB → State) → Vishwakarma certificate + ID issued in 7-15 days.
