Who is this scheme for?
Small and marginal farmer households across India — direct income support of ₹6,000/year.
Benefit amount & what you get
₹6,000 per year in 3 equal instalments of ₹2,000 every 4 months (Apr-Jul, Aug-Nov, Dec-Mar) directly to Aadhaar-linked bank account. 19th instalment is due February 2026.
Eligibility criteria
Cultivable land-holding farmer family (husband + wife + minor children). EXCLUDED: constitutional post-holders, MPs/MLAs, govt employees of Grp A/B & PSU, IT payers, doctors/lawyers/CAs, pensioners with ≥₹10k/month.
How to apply — step by step
Visit pmkisan.gov.in → Farmers Corner → New Farmer Registration → Aadhaar + bank details + land records (Khasra-Khatauni). State-level verification by Lekhpal/Patwari within 30 days. e-KYC mandatory.
