How to Apply for UPPSC PCS Pre 2026

Selection Process

The UPPSC PCS selection consists of three distinct stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): This is a screening test consisting of two objective type papers (General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II/CSAT). Only those who qualify the prelims are eligible for the Mains examination. The marks obtained in Prelims are not counted for final merit ranking.
