The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSSC) conducts recruitment for Home Guard positions in Bihar state. Home Guards are voluntary force personnel who assist police in maintaining law and order, managing crowds during public events, and providing security during emergencies. Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have passed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in any trade from a recognised institution

1. Written Examination: Computer-based objective type test covering General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, Mental Ability and Bihar-specific questions. Qualifying candidates proceed to next stage.

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who clear written exam will undergo physical tests including running (race), long jump, high jump, and other physical standards as per Home Guard requirements.

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Measurement of height, chest (for male candidates), and weight as per prescribed standards for Home Guard recruitment.

1. Document Verification: Original documents including educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate, age proof, and identity proof will be verified. Candidates must produce all original documents.
