Educational Qualification

1. Written Examination (Objective Type): Computer-based or offline objective type exam covering General Knowledge, Arithmetic, General Hindi, and relevant subjects. This is the primary selection stage carrying maximum weightage.

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on written exam marks will be called for document verification. Original certificates of educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents will be verified.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully clear document verification will undergo medical examination to ensure physical and mental fitness for the post as per government norms.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the written examination. Merit list will be prepared category-wise and candidates will be appointed based on vacancy position.

Assistant Accounts Officers have good career progression opportunities within the Uttarakhand state government. After gaining experience and clearing departmental exams, AAOs can be promoted to Accounts Officer, Senior Accounts Officer, and further to Deputy Controller of Accounts and Controller of Accounts positions. With continuous performance and seniority, officers can reach senior administrative positions in the state finance department with pay scales up to Level 12-13.

Admit cards for UKSSSC AAO examination will be released approximately 10-15 days before the scheduled exam date on the official website sssc.uk.gov.in. Candidates need to login using their registration number and password to download the admit card. No postal dispatch of admit cards is done; candidates must download and carry it to the examination center along with valid photo ID proof.
