Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced recruitment for 43 posts including Staff Nurse, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) and other medical/paramedical positions. NMMC is the civic body responsible for administration of Navi Mumbai city in Maharashtra. This recruitment is conducted to fill vacancies in NMMC's healthcare facilities and urban health centres. Candidates selected will serve in various NMMC hospitals, dispensaries and maternal-child health centres across Navi Mumbai. The application process is offline mode where candidates need to submit physical applications to the designated NMMC office. • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) OR B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM):

• Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery from a recognized institution
• Registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council

Pharmacist:

Selection Process

Staff Nurse

Pharmacist/Lab Technician

NMMC offers structured career progression with promotional opportunities based on seniority and performance. Staff Nurses can get promoted to Senior Staff Nurse, Nursing Sister, and further to Nursing Superintendent positions with pay levels up to Level 10-11. ANMs can advance to Senior ANM and Supervisory roles. Pharmacists and Lab Technicians can progress to Senior Technician, Chief Pharmacist/Technician positions with opportunities to handle administrative responsibilities and departmental supervision with corresponding salary enhancements.

Admit cards for the written examination will be released approximately 10-15 days before the exam date on the official NMMC website. Candidates need to download the admit card by logging in with their application number and date of birth. No physical admit cards will be sent by post. The admit card contains important details including exam centre address, reporting time, and examination instructions which must be carried to the exam hall along with valid photo ID proof.

Results will be declared separately for each stage of the selection process. Written exam results are typically published within 3-4 weeks after the examination on the official NMMC website. Candidates can check results by entering their roll number or registration number. Shortlisted candidates for skill test and interview will be informed via the website and email/SMS. The final merit list after all selection stages will be published on the website with category-wise cutoff marks and selected candidates' details.

Based on previous NMMC recruitments, the expected cutoff marks for Staff Nurse positions range from 65-75 marks out of 100 for General category, 60-70 for OBC, and 55-65 for SC/ST categories. ANM cutoffs are typically 60-70 for General, 55-65 for OBC, and 50-60 for SC/ST. Cutoff marks vary based on number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and vacancy distribution. The actual cutoff is determined by the recruitment authority after examining overall performance.
