Remuneration Details

Note: This is a Non-Stipendiary position, meaning candidates will NOT receive any monthly salary or stipend during the internship period. The primary benefit is gaining mandatory practical training and clinical experience required for Dental Council registration. Some institutions may provide subsidized hostel accommodation and mess facilities. Candidates complete this internship to fulfill DCI requirements for independent dental practice license.

After completing the Non-Stipendiary Dental House Staff training, candidates become eligible for State Dental Council permanent registration and can practice independently. Graduates can pursue postgraduate dental studies (MDS) in various specializations, join government dental services through state PSC exams, work in private dental clinics/hospitals, or establish their own dental practice. This internship is a mandatory stepping stone for all future career opportunities in dentistry.

As this is a merit-based selection without a written examination, there is no admit card issued for candidates. However, shortlisted candidates will receive interview/document verification call letters via email or post approximately 10-15 days before the verification date.
