Selection Process

1. Preliminary Examination (Screening Test): Computer-based objective type examination covering General Hindi, General Knowledge, General Intelligence, and Arithmetic. This is a qualifying exam to shortlist candidates for the main examination. Marks obtained in prelims are not counted for final merit.

1. Main Examination: Comprehensive written examination testing technical knowledge, reasoning ability, general awareness, and subject-specific topics relevant to Technical Assistant role. This is the primary selection test and marks obtained here are considered for final merit list preparation.

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on main exam performance are called for certificate verification. Original documents including educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate, age proof, and other relevant documents are verified at designated centers.

1. Final Merit List: Based on marks obtained in the main examination and successful document verification, the final merit list is prepared category-wise. Candidates are selected strictly on merit within their respective categories subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions.

1. Medical Examination: Selected candidates undergo medical fitness examination as per government norms to ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the post.
