Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
• For Station Master/Goods Guard: Graduate with proficiency in Hindi/Urdu and at least one local language of the Railway zone
• Candidates appearing in final year/semester are also eligible to apply
• Degree obtained through Distance/Correspondence mode must be recognized by UGC/AICTE/DEC

Application Process

Selection Process

The RRB NTPC Undergraduate selection consists of multiple stages:

1. Computer Based Test Stage 1 (CBT 1): Screening exam covering General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning. Candidates are shortlisted based on merit (normalized marks) in ratio 20 times the vacancies for CBT 2.

1. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Mandatory for Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts to assess mental ability, concentration, and decision-making skills under pressure.

1. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates including educational qualification, age proof, community certificate, disability certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card is released approximately 4-7 days before the scheduled exam date on the official websites of respective RRB zones.
