NHPC Limited (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) is a Miniratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. NHPC conducts recruitment for Junior Engineer (JE) positions across Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines to manage and operate hydroelectric power projects across India. Selection Process

1. Written Examination: Computer-based test (CBT) covering technical subjects related to the specific engineering discipline (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical), General Awareness, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. This is the primary screening stage with qualifying marks for different categories.

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on written exam merit will be called for document verification where original certificates including educational qualifications, category certificates, age proof, and experience certificates will be verified thoroughly.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully clear document verification will undergo comprehensive medical examination as per NHPC standards to ensure fitness for the job role and posting at project sites which may be in remote/hilly areas.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based purely on marks obtained in the written examination. Merit list will be prepared discipline-wise and category-wise, and appointment letters will be issued to selected candidates.
