Selection Stages

1. Preliminary Examination: An objective type screening test covering General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal Awareness, Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and General Mental Ability. This is qualifying in nature and marks are not counted for final merit.

1. Main Examination: A descriptive written examination testing in-depth knowledge of substantive and procedural criminal law, Indian Evidence Act, Constitution of India, and legal drafting skills. This carries substantial weightage in final selection.
