Educational Qualification

Child Psychologist:

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology/Child Psychology from a recognized university
• RCI registration (where applicable)

Medical Officer:

• Valid registration with State Medical Council/NMC

Selection Procedure

1. Screening of Applications: All received applications will be scrutinized for eligibility based on educational qualifications, experience, age limit, and completeness of application. Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted.

Candidates must bring a printout of the admit card along with valid original photo ID proof to the examination/interview venue. Without admit card, entry will not be permitted.

Results will be declared separately for each stage (written test, if conducted, and interview). The final result will be published on the official AIIMS Gorakhpur website displaying roll numbers/registration numbers of selected candidates in order of merit, category-wise. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for result updates. Selected candidates will also be informed through email/registered post about joining formalities and document verification schedule.

Cutoff marks vary by post and category based on number of applicants, difficulty level, and vacancies. Typically, General category candidates need 55-65% marks in interview to qualify, while OBC candidates require 50-60%, and SC/ST candidates need 45-55%. For written tests (if applicable), qualifying marks are generally 40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC, and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD categories.
