Selection Stages

1. Written Examination (Computer Based Test): Objective type multiple-choice questions covering General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/IQ/Reasoning. Duration: 2 hours. Qualifying stage with merit-based shortlisting.

1. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted from written exam will undergo document verification where original certificates (educational, age, category, domicile) will be verified by the board.

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes running test (4800m for male in 25 minutes, 2400m for female in 14 minutes) and long jump/high jump. This is a qualifying test with pass/fail criteria.

1. Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest measurement verification (Male: 168cm height, 79-84cm chest; Female: 152cm height). Weight must be proportionate to height and age.
