Selection Stages

1. Preliminary Examination: Computer-based objective test consisting of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability sections totaling 100 marks and 60 minutes duration. This is a qualifying exam and scores are not counted for final merit list. Candidates qualifying this stage move to Mains.

1. Main Examination: Comprehensive computer-based test covering Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. Additionally includes a Descriptive Test (Essay Writing & Letter Writing). Total marks: 250 (200 for objective + 50 for descriptive). Duration: 3 hours.

1. Group Exercise & Interview: Candidates shortlisted from Mains are called for Group Exercise (20 marks) and Personal Interview (30 marks). The GE & Interview assess personality, communication skills, leadership qualities, awareness of banking sector, and overall suitability for officer role in banking.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on marks obtained in Main Examination, Group Exercise, and Interview combined. Candidates are selected category-wise and state-wise based on vacancies.

1. Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must appear for document verification with original certificates (educational, caste, age proof, experience if any, etc.).
