RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) Graduate Level recruitment is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards across India under CEN 06/2025. Application Process

2. One-Time Registration: If applying for the first time, complete one-time registration and obtain Registration ID
3. Login: Use Registration ID and password to login to the application portal
4. Fill Application Form: Complete all sections including personal details, educational qualification, category, PWD status, and upload recent photograph and signature (scanned images in prescribed format and size)
5. Choose Exam Centre: Select preferred exam city/centre from available options
6. Payment of Fee: Pay application fee through online modes (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI) or through SBI Challan/Post Office Challan
7. Submit Application: Review all details carefully and submit the application form

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 1: First stage screening test covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. Candidates are shortlisted based on normalized scores and vacancy requirements (approximately 20 times the total vacancies).

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 2: Second stage examination for shortlisted candidates from CBT 1, with questions of higher difficulty level covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and subject-specific questions based on post applied.

1. Typing Skill Test (for applicable posts): Candidates shortlisted from CBT 2 for posts requiring typing skills must appear for Typing Test in English or Hindi with minimum qualifying speed (30/25 wpm for English/Hindi respectively).

1. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): For posts like Station Master, Goods Guard, and Traffic Assistant, candidates must qualify in Aptitude Test covering psycho tests, spatial/abstract ability, and concentration tests.

1. Document Verification (DV): Candidates qualifying in all stages are called for document verification where original certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, category, and other relevant documents are verified.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully complete DV undergo medical examination as per Railway medical standards to ensure fitness for railway service.

1. Final Merit List: Based on performance in CBT 2 (normalized scores) and subject to qualifying in skill test/aptitude test, DV, and medical examination, final merit list is prepared for appointment.

Starting at Pay Level 6, employees can progress to Senior Supervisory roles (Level 7), then to Junior Management Grade (Level 8/9), followed by Senior Management positions through departmental promotion quota (DPQ) and limited departmental competitive examinations (LDCE). With 15-20 years of service, officers can reach Group A gazetted positions in Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) or Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) through internal exams, offering long-term growth potential.

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card for CEN 06/2025 will be released approximately 10-15 days before the scheduled examination date on the official websites of respective RRBs. Candidates must download their admit card by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
