JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) 2026 is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. This computer-based test is designed for students who have completed or are appearing for Class XII and aspire to pursue a career in management. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class XII for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates
• Minimum 55% aggregate marks in Class XII for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
• Students appearing for Class XII in 2026 are also eligible to apply

How to Apply

1. Visit the official NTA JIPMAT website at jipmat.nta.ac.in
2. Click on 'JIPMAT 2026 Registration' link on the homepage
3. Complete new candidate registration using valid email ID and mobile number
4. Verify email and mobile through OTP received
5. Login using generated Application Number and Password
6. Fill the application form with personal, academic and communication details
7. Upload scanned photograph (10-100 KB, JPG format) and signature (4-30 KB, JPG format)
8. Select exam city preferences (minimum 4 cities)
9. Select preferred IIM (Bodh Gaya/Jammu/Both)
10. Pay application fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI
11. Submit the application form and save confirmation page
12. Take printout of completed application form for future reference

Selection Process

1. JIPMAT Entrance Examination: Single-stage computer-based test evaluating Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks as specified by respective IIMs.

1. Merit List Preparation: Based on JIPMAT scores, separate merit lists are prepared by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu following reservation norms. Candidates are shortlisted category-wise for further selection rounds.

1. Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview at designated centres. Interview assesses communication skills, subject knowledge, general awareness, and personality traits relevant for management education.

1. Final Merit List: Prepared based on composite score combining JIPMAT exam marks, Class X marks, Class XII marks and Personal Interview performance with specific weightage assigned by respective IIMs.

1. Seat Allocation & Admission: Candidates are offered admission based on final merit rank, category and seat availability. Document verification is conducted before final admission confirmation.

1. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit medical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner confirming physical and mental fitness for the programme.

JIPMAT 2026 admit cards are typically released 7-10 days before the examination date on the official NTA JIPMAT website. Candidates must login using their Application Number and Password/Date of Birth to download the admit card. The admit card contains important details including candidate's name, photograph, exam date, time, reporting time, exam centre address, and important instructions. No physical admit card is sent by post; candidates must carry a printed copy along with valid photo ID proof to the examination centre.

JIPMAT 2026 results are declared approximately 15-20 days after the examination on the official website. The result includes candidate's total score, sectional scores, percentile, and All India Rank. Candidates can check results by logging in with their Application Number and Date of Birth. NTA also releases category-wise cutoff marks along with the results. Successful candidates are separately notified by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for further selection rounds including Personal Interview based on their merit and institute-specific cutoffs.

JIPMAT cutoff varies annually based on exam difficulty and number of applicants. Typically, General category cutoff ranges between 145-165 marks out of 300, while OBC cutoff is around 135-155, SC/ST cutoff is 110-130 marks. Both overall cutoff and sectional cutoffs must be cleared for qualification. IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu may have slightly different cutoff marks. Top percentile scores (99-100th percentile) generally correspond to 230+ marks, ensuring calls from both IIMs.
