Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
• OR Qualification with two years Diploma or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology/Physiotherapy/X-Ray/Health & Sanitation Inspector/OT Technician/Medical Assistant/Hospital Corpsman or equivalent from any recognized Board/University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Intermediate or Diploma

Selection Stages

1. Online Written Examination: Computer-based test covering English, Physics, Mathematics/Chemistry and reasoning & general awareness. Duration of 60 minutes with 50 objective-type questions.

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who qualify the written examination undergo physical fitness test including 1.6 km run to be completed in stipulated time, and other physical measurements (height, weight, chest measurements).

1. Adaptability Test - 1: A computerized test to assess the candidate's aptitude and suitability for Air Force life and work environment.

1. Adaptability Test - 2: A psychometric test conducted to further evaluate psychological suitability for IAF service.

1. Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical examination conducted by Air Force Medical Board to ensure candidates meet the prescribed medical standards for the Medical Assistant trade.

1. Document Verification: Original documents including educational certificates, caste certificates, domicile certificate, and character certificates are verified.
