The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement 03/2026 for recruitment to 1979 Group B and Group C posts across various departments of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Educational Qualification

• Minimum: ITI Certificate in relevant trade from recognized institution (NCVT/SCVT)

How to Apply

2. Click on "Apply Online" link under Advertisement 03/2026
3. Click on "New Registration" if applying for the first time (existing users can login with Registration ID)
4. Fill Part-I of the application form with basic details and create login credentials
5. Note down the Registration ID and Password generated
6. Login again with Registration ID and complete Part-II with educational, personal and post preference details
7. Upload scanned photograph (20-50 KB, JPG format) and signature (10-20 KB, JPG format)
8. Upload required documents (certificates, category certificate, domicile etc.)
9. Review the complete application form thoroughly
10. Proceed to payment section and pay application fee through online mode (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking)
11. Submit the application form and save/print the confirmation page for future reference
12. No need to send hard copy of application form

1. One Tier Examination (Computer Based Test): Single-stage objective type examination covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetic/Quantitative Aptitude, and subject-specific knowledge related to the post

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (based on merit in examination) will be called for document verification where original certificates of educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate, domicile, and other relevant documents will be verified

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully complete document verification will undergo medical fitness examination as per prescribed standards for government service

1. Merit List Preparation: Final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the examination, subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria and successful document verification

1. Final Appointment: Selected candidates will be issued appointment letters by respective departments and will be required to join within the stipulated time period

• DA (Dearness Allowance): Currently 50% of Basic Pay (subject to revision)
• HRA (House Rent Allowance): 27% of Basic Pay (for Delhi)

DSSSB selected candidates enjoy excellent career progression opportunities within the Delhi government framework. Promotions are granted based on seniority-cum-merit through Departmental Promotion Committees (DPC) at regular intervals. Group C employees can progress to Group B positions, and further to supervisory and gazetted roles through departmental examinations and experience-based promotions with corresponding pay level upgrades.

Admit cards for the examination will be released approximately 15-20 days before the scheduled exam date on the official DSSSB website. Candidates must download the admit card using their Registration ID and password/date of birth. No physical admit card will be sent by post. The admit card contains important details like examination centre, reporting time, and instructions to be followed during the examination.

DSSSB declares results in multiple stages on its official website. The Tier-I examination result is typically announced 6-8 weeks after the examination, containing marks and cutoff details. The final result after document verification is published separately with merit list and wait list. Candidates can check results using their Registration ID or Roll Number on the official portal.

DSSSB cutoff marks vary by post and category based on difficulty level, number of applicants, and vacancies. Typical cutoff ranges for Group C posts: General category 60-75 marks, OBC 55-70 marks, SC 50-65 marks, ST 45-60 marks out of 100. For Group B posts, cutoffs are generally 5-10 marks higher. Category-wise merit lists are prepared separately with different qualifying marks for each reserved category.
