Selection Process
Selection Stages
- Online Written Examination: Computer-based test of 200 marks covering engineering subjects, general ability, and aptitude. Duration of 3 hours. This is the primary selection stage.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on written exam merit are called for document verification. Original certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, category, experience (if any) are verified.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully complete document verification undergo medical fitness examination as per BSNL medical standards. Fitness certificate from authorized medical board is mandatory.
- Final Merit List: Final selection is purely based on marks obtained in online written examination subject to qualifying document verification and medical fitness. No interview is conducted.
- Appointment Order: Selected candidates receive appointment letters and are posted across BSNL circles based on merit rank, preferences, and organizational requirements.
