Apprenticeship Stipend (Typical / Indicative)

Note: Apprentices receive stipend (not salary) during training period. Stipend amount varies by trade qualification and is governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 and AAI norms. No allowances like DA, HRA, TA are provided during apprenticeship. Since selection is merit-based without written examination, admit cards are not issued for Apprentice recruitment. Shortlisted candidates based on ITI merit are directly called for document verification through email/SMS/website notification. A call letter for document verification session is sent approximately 7-10 days before the scheduled date with venue and time details.

Results are declared in the form of a merit list published on the official AAI website. The merit list contains roll numbers/application numbers of selected candidates arranged in order of merit based on ITI percentage. Category-wise separate merit lists (UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS) are prepared as per reservation norms. Candidates can check their selection status by downloading the PDF merit list and searching for their application/roll number.
