Selection Process
Selection Stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): Computer-based screening test consisting of two objective papers (General Studies and Geology/Geophysics/Chemistry as applicable). This is qualifying in nature and marks are not counted for final merit.
- Main Examination (Conventional/Descriptive): Written examination consisting of two conventional papers testing in-depth subject knowledge in chosen discipline (Geology/Geophysics/Chemistry/Hydrogeology). Each paper is of 3 hours duration and 200 marks. Total 400 marks.
