Selection Stages
- Preliminary Examination: An objective type online test to shortlist candidates for the Mains examination. It consists of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must qualify in each section and overall to proceed to Mains.
- Main Examination: A comprehensive online objective and descriptive test covering Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. Additionally, includes a Descriptive Paper (Letter Writing & Essay) to test written communication skills.
- Group Exercise & Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from Mains are called for Group Exercise (Group Discussion) carrying 20 marks and Personal Interview carrying 30 marks. This stage assesses communication skills, leadership qualities, group behavior, and overall personality.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in all stages undergo thorough document verification where original certificates of age, educational qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates, and other relevant documents are verified.
- Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates must undergo medical fitness examination as per SBI standards. Candidates found medically unfit will not be appointed.
