How to Apply Online

Application Fees

Selection Stages

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Single stage objective type examination consisting of multiple choice questions covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Science related to the specific post. Duration is 90 minutes with normalized scoring in case of multiple shifts. Qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC-NCL, and 25% for SC/ST candidates.

1. Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted based on CBT merit are called for document verification in the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 against advertised vacancies. Original certificates including educational qualifications, caste certificate, age proof, registration certificates (for Nurse/Pharmacist), experience certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents are verified. Non-production of original documents leads to disqualification.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully complete document verification undergo comprehensive medical examination by Railway Medical Board. Fitness is assessed based on prescribed medical standards for respective posts. Candidates must meet vision standards, hearing standards, and general physical fitness norms.
