Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Paramedical Staff consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Single-stage objective type computer-based examination covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Science with technical subject questions. Duration of 90 minutes with 100 questions for 100 marks.
- Normalization of Marks: Since CBT is conducted in multiple shifts over several days, normalization of scores is done to ensure fairness across different difficulty levels of question papers administered in different sessions.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates based on CBT merit are called for document verification where original certificates of educational qualification, age proof, category certificate, medical fitness certificate and other relevant documents are verified.
