REET Mains 3rd Grade Teacher Result 2026

REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers) Mains for 3rd Grade Teacher is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) to recruit eligible candidates for Level-2 (Classes 6-8) teaching positions in Government schools across Rajasthan. This examination is the second stage after REET, specifically designed to assess subject knowledge and teaching aptitude for upper primary level teachers. Candidates who qualify REET Mains become eligible for appointment as 3rd Grade Teachers in various subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, Hindi, and Sanskrit in Rajasthan Government schools. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Graduation (BA/BSc/BCom) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates) from a recognized university
• Professional Qualification: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) OR equivalent teaching qualification recognized by NCTE
• REET Qualification: Candidates must have qualified REET Level-2 examination
• Subject Proficiency: Graduation and B.Ed should include the subject for which applying (for subject teachers)
• Language Requirement: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture

Selection Process

1. REET Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have qualified REET Level-2 examination conducted by BSER as a prerequisite. This is the basic eligibility requirement for appearing in REET Mains.

1. REET Mains Written Examination: Candidates appear for a comprehensive written exam testing subject knowledge, pedagogy, teaching aptitude, and general awareness. This is the main selection examination with negative marking for wrong answers.

1. Document Verification: Candidates who clear REET Mains cutoff are called for document verification where original certificates related to educational qualifications, age proof, caste certificate, domicile, REET certificate, and other relevant documents are verified by the department.

1. Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates undergo medical fitness examination to ensure they meet the physical and mental health standards required for teaching profession as per government norms.

1. Merit List Preparation: Final merit list is prepared based on REET Mains marks subject to satisfactory document verification and medical fitness. Appointment offers are issued as per merit within category and subject-wise vacancies.

1. Appointment and Training: Selected candidates receive appointment letters and must join within stipulated time. They undergo mandatory teacher induction training before regular posting in schools across Rajasthan.

REET Mains 2026 admit cards are expected to be released approximately 10-15 days before the examination date on the official BSER website. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the candidate portal using their application number and date of birth. The admit card contains crucial details including candidate's name, photograph, examination center address, exam date and time, important instructions, and roll number which must be preserved for future reference.

REET Mains 2026 result is expected to be declared approximately 4-6 weeks after the examination date. Results will be published on the official BSER Rajasthan website in PDF format containing roll numbers of qualified candidates. Candidates can check their individual scores, subject-wise marks, and qualifying status by entering their roll number on the result portal. REET Mains cutoff marks vary category-wise and subject-wise based on exam difficulty, number of applicants, and available vacancies. Typical expected cutoff ranges are: UR category 60-70% (90-105 marks out of 150), OBC 55-65% (82-97 marks), SC 50-60% (75-90 marks), ST 45-55% (67-82 marks), and EWS 58-68% (87-102 marks). Science and Mathematics subjects generally have slightly lower cutoffs compared to Language and Social Science subjects due to difficulty levels.
