Selection Process
The selection process comprises the following stages:
- Online Examination: Computer-based test covering technical knowledge, general awareness, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. Duration typically 2-3 hours with objective-type questions. This is the primary screening stage.
- Shortlisting: Based on performance in online examination, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise in the ratio of 1:3 or 1:5 against advertised vacancies for further stages.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview before a panel of experts. Interview assesses technical competence, domain knowledge, communication skills, and overall suitability for the position. Marks weightage typically 20-30% of total.
- Document Verification: Candidates provisionally selected after interview must produce original documents for verification including educational certificates, date of birth proof, category certificate, experience certificates, and ID proof.
