Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) is one of the three successor entities of the erstwhile Rajasthan State Electricity Board and is responsible for power generation in Rajasthan. RVUNL periodically recruits Junior Engineers (JEN), Accountants, and Assistants to support its power generation and administrative operations across the state. This recruitment exam selects candidates for technical and non-technical positions in the electrical, civil, mechanical engineering domains as well as accounts and general administration departments. The selected candidates will work under various power generation units and administrative offices of RVUNL across Rajasthan. Educational Qualification

For Junior Engineer (JEN)

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• OR ITI in relevant trade with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)
• Candidates in final year may apply subject to producing the certificate before document verification

For Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university
• Basic knowledge of computer applications

For Assistant

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• Computer proficiency (CCC or equivalent certificate)
• Typing speed: 30 words per minute in Hindi OR 40 words per minute in English

4. Login using registered credentials and fill the online application form with personal, educational, and contact details
5. Upload scanned copies of recent photograph (50 KB, JPEG format), signature (20 KB), and relevant certificates as per specifications

7. Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI
8. After successful payment, submit the application form and save/print the confirmation page for future reference

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Single-stage objective type examination conducted online covering technical/domain knowledge, general knowledge, reasoning, and basic mathematics. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks as per category.

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on merit in CBT will be called for document verification where original certificates of educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents will be verified.

1. Physical Fitness Test (for JEN posts only): Candidates may be required to undergo physical fitness assessment as per the nature of job requirements in power generation units.

1. Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates must undergo medical examination to certify fitness for the post as per government norms.

1. Final Merit List: Based on CBT marks and successful completion of document verification and medical examination, final merit list will be prepared category-wise and appointments will be issued accordingly.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre for entry.

RVUNL typically declares the CBT result within 4-6 weeks after the examination through the official website. Candidates can check their result by entering application number and date of birth on the result portal. The result displays category-wise cutoff marks, individual scores, and qualification status. An official answer key is released before the final result allowing candidates to raise objections if any. Cutoff marks for RVUNL recruitment vary based on exam difficulty, number of applicants, and available vacancies. Typically for JEN posts, UR candidates need 55-65% marks, OBC candidates 50-60%, and SC/ST candidates 45-55% for qualification. For Accountant and Assistant posts, the cutoff is generally 5-10% lower than JEN positions. Cutoff percentages are subject to change based on overall exam performance and normalization procedures if multiple shifts are conducted. Category-wise merit lists are prepared separately ensuring fair selection across all reserved categories.
