The Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. Educational Qualification

• For General/OBC/EWS Candidates: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th and Class 12th (or equivalent) examinations
• For SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks in Class 10th and Class 12th (or equivalent) examinations
• Class 12th Appearing Students: Candidates appearing in Class 12th examination in 2026 are eligible to apply. Final admission is subject to meeting the minimum percentage criteria
• Stream: Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts/Humanities) are eligible
• Year of Passing: Should have passed Class 12th in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026

Selection Process

1. JIPMAT 2026 Examination: Candidates must appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by NTA. The exam tests Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension.

1. Result Declaration: NTA declares the JIPMAT result with candidates' scores and All India Rank. Only candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff percentile (category-wise) are eligible for counselling.

1. Individual IIM Counselling: Each participating IIM (Bodh Gaya and Jammu) conducts its own independent counselling process. Shortlisting is based on JIPMAT scores combined with Class 10th and 12th marks as per institute-specific weightage.

1. Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview at respective IIMs. The PI assesses communication skills, general awareness, and suitability for the programme.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on composite score calculated from JIPMAT score, Class 10th marks, Class 12th marks, and PI performance. Weightage varies by institute.

1. Seat Allotment: Candidates are offered admission based on final merit rank and category. Candidates must accept the offer and complete admission formalities within the stipulated time.

1. Document Verification: Original documents (mark sheets, certificates, category certificate, ID proof) are verified during admission. Any discrepancy leads to cancellation of admission.

Admit Card Information

The JIPMAT 2026 Admit Card is released by NTA approximately 7-10 days before the exam date on the official website ntajipmat.nta.ac.in. Candidates must login using their Application Number and Date of Birth/Password to download the admit card. No physical copy is sent by post. The admit card contains candidate's name, photograph, exam date, reporting time, exam centre address, and important instructions. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport) to the examination centre. Entry is strictly prohibited without the admit card.

Result Information

NTA declares the JIPMAT 2026 result typically within 10-15 days after the examination on the official website. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their Application Number and Date of Birth. The result displays the candidate's total score (out of 300), sectional scores, All India Rank, and category rank. NTA also releases category-wise cutoff percentiles. Scorecard can be downloaded from the candidate login portal. Only candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff are eligible for counselling by participating IIMs. No physical scorecard or rank letter is dispatched.
