- JIPMAT Examination: Candidates appear for the computer-based JIPMAT exam consisting of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability sections. The exam is of 2.5 hours duration with 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
- Merit List Preparation: NTA prepares an All India Merit List based on the JIPMAT scores. Separate category-wise merit lists are also prepared for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD candidates.
- Shortlisting for Personal Interview: Based on JIPMAT scores and seat availability, IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu independently shortlist candidates for Personal Interview rounds. Each IIM has its own shortlisting criteria and weightage system.
