Educational Qualification

• Essential: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in Mining or related trade from a recognized institution

1. Written Examination: Computer-based objective type test covering technical knowledge of mining operations, safety regulations, mine planning, DGMS rules, and general awareness. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification with original certificates including ITI marksheet, Mining Sirdar Certificate from DGMS, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Candidates failing to produce genuine documents will be disqualified.

1. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear document verification will undergo comprehensive medical examination as per Coal India Limited norms. Medical fitness for working in underground/opencast mines is mandatory. Medical standards include vision, hearing, cardiovascular fitness, and physical capability for mining work.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on performance in written examination subject to qualifying document verification and medical examination. Merit list will be prepared category-wise.

1. Appointment: Selected candidates will receive appointment letters and will be required to join within stipulated time period at designated NCL projects.
