Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Operator Semi-Skilled (SS):

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in relevant trade (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Electrician, or equivalent)
• National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT/SCVT
• Candidates appearing in final year are not eligible

For Junior Assistant:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English OR 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, spreadsheet applications)

Nationality

• Candidate must be a citizen of India

Selection Procedure

1. Screening of Applications: All received applications will be scrutinized for eligibility criteria including educational qualifications, age limit, and completeness of application. Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted for further stages.

1. Written Test/Trade Test: For Operator SS posts, candidates will undergo a trade-specific practical skill test to assess technical competency in their ITI trade. For Junior Assistant posts, candidates will appear for a written test covering General Intelligence, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language, and General Awareness.

1. Typing Test (For Junior Assistant): Shortlisted candidates for Junior Assistant will undergo a typing speed test on computer (30 wpm English or 25 wpm Hindi). This is qualifying in nature.

1. Personal Interview: Candidates qualifying in written/skill test will be called for personal interview to assess suitability, communication skills, and knowledge related to the job profile. Interview carries specific weightage in final merit.

1. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in interview will be required to produce original documents for verification including educational certificates, caste certificate, age proof, and other relevant documents.

1. Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates will undergo medical fitness examination as per the standards prescribed by the organization. Candidates must be medically fit for the post.

1. Final Merit List: Based on combined performance in written/skill test, interview, and subject to document verification and medical fitness, final merit list will be prepared category-wise and candidates will be offered appointment.

Examination Pattern

For Operator Semi-Skilled (SS) - Trade/Skill Test

Note: Trade test is eliminatory in nature. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS/OBC and 35% for SC/ST candidates.

For Junior Assistant - Written Test

Typing Test (Qualifying):

• English: 30 words per minute on computer, OR
• Hindi: 25 words per minute on computer
• Duration: 10 minutes

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the written test for Junior Assistant. No negative marking in practical trade test for Operator posts.

Admit cards for the written test/skill test will be made available for download approximately 10-15 days before the scheduled examination date on the official Naini Aerospace website or the designated recruitment portal. Candidates must download their admit card using their application number/registration number and date of birth, and bring it to the examination centre along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport). No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card and photo ID proof.

Results for each stage (written test/skill test, interview) will be declared separately on the official website within 3-4 weeks of conducting the respective examination. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number/application number on the result portal. The final merit list will be prepared based on combined performance and displayed on the official website with category-wise cutoff marks. Selected candidates will be intimated individually through registered email/post for document verification and joining formalities.

Cutoff marks vary each year depending on the difficulty level of the examination, number of applicants, and vacancy positions. For Operator SS posts, typical qualifying cutoff ranges between 40-50 marks out of 100 for UR category, 35-45 for OBC, and 30-40 for SC/ST candidates. For Junior Assistant posts, cutoff generally ranges between 55-65 marks for UR, 50-60 for OBC, and 45-55 for SC/ST categories. Category-wise cutoffs are determined separately and the final selection is based on merit within each reserved category.
