1. Preliminary Examination: Computer-based objective type test covering General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, and relevant subject knowledge. Qualifying in nature, candidates securing minimum cutoff marks proceed to Mains examination.

1. Main Examination: Descriptive and objective type examination covering detailed syllabus of Agriculture, Rural Development, Agricultural Extension, and related subjects. Marks obtained in Mains are considered for final merit list preparation.
