• Teacher (Nursery): Senior Secondary (12th pass) with Diploma/Certificate in Pre-Primary Teacher Training or Montessori Training
• Laboratory Technician: 12th pass with Science subjects and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

Multi-stage selection procedure:

1. Written Examination (Computer Based Test): Objective type multiple choice questions covering General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and subject-specific technical knowledge based on the post applied for. Duration typically 2 hours.

1. Skill Test/Practical Test: Applicable for posts like Laboratory Technician, Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, etc. Candidates must demonstrate practical skills relevant to the job requirement. Qualifying in nature.

1. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates based on written exam performance will be called for interview. The interview panel assesses subject knowledge, communication skills, job suitability, and overall personality. Carries 15-20% weightage in final selection.

1. Document Verification: Candidates provisionally selected must produce original certificates for educational qualifications, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificates, and other relevant documents for verification.

1. Medical Examination: Final selected candidates must undergo medical fitness examination at JIPMER or designated medical board. Candidates must meet prescribed physical and medical standards for the post.

Admit cards for JIPMER recruitment examination will be released approximately 10-15 days before the scheduled exam date. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official JIPMER website (www.jipmer.edu.in) using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. No physical admit card will be sent by post.
