Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Screening: Applications are screened based on educational qualifications, age criteria, and eligibility parameters. Shortlisted candidates are called for SSB interview.

Admit cards for SSB interview are not issued in physical form. Shortlisted candidates receive 'Call-Up Letters' via registered email approximately 3-4 weeks before the scheduled SSB interview date. Candidates must download the call-up letter from the official Indian Navy website using their registration credentials and report to the designated Selection Centre with printed copy along with original documents on the specified date and time.

SSB interview results are declared within 2-3 days after completion of the 5-day assessment, with candidates informed verbally at the conference on the final day. Medical examination results are declared within 4-6 weeks at designated Military Hospitals. The final merit list of selected candidates is published on the official Indian Navy website approximately 2-3 months after completion of all SSB interviews and medical examinations for the batch.

There is no specific cutoff marks system as selection is based on overall performance in SSB interview assessing Officer Like Qualities (OLQs).
