Selection Stages

1. Physical Screening Test (PST): Candidates are required to meet minimum height and chest measurements. Male candidates: Height 165 cm (163 cm for ST), Chest 81-86 cm. Female candidates: Height 157 cm (155 cm for ST). Weight proportionate to height and age.

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying race/running test. Male candidates: 1600 meters run to be completed in 8 minutes. Female candidates: 800 meters run to be completed in 5 minutes. This is a qualifying test.

1. Written Examination: Computer-based objective type test covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General English/Hindi, and HP-related questions. Candidates qualifying PST/PET are called for the written exam.

1. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on written exam marks are called for verification of original certificates including educational qualification, category certificate, domicile, age proof, etc.
