Selection Stages

1. Written Examination (Screening Test): Objective type written test covering subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, research methodology, general awareness, and reasoning. This is a qualifying test to shortlist candidates for interview.

1. Interview/Personality Test: Shortlisted candidates from written exam will be called for interview before a Selection Committee. The interview assesses subject expertise, teaching ability, communication skills, research orientation, and overall suitability for the teaching position. Marks: typically 100 marks.

1. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying the interview must present original documents including educational certificates, NET/SET certificates, experience certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents for verification.

1. Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates undergo medical fitness examination as per government standards to ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the teaching position.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on combined performance in written exam and interview, subject to document verification and medical fitness. Reservation rules as per state policy are applied.
