Selection Stages

  1. Written Examination: Computer-based objective type test covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and Trade-related knowledge. Duration of 2 hours with 100 questions of 100 marks.
  1. Trade Test: Practical skill assessment in the applied trade conducted by technical experts. Candidates must demonstrate competency in their respective trade (Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mechanic, Welder, etc.). This is qualifying in nature and evaluated on pass/fail basis.
  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Basic physical standards including height, chest measurement (for males), and weight. Candidates must meet minimum physical standards prescribed for paramilitary forces. This is qualifying in nature.
  1. Document Verification: Verification of original educational certificates, category certificates, identity proof, and other relevant documents. Candidates must produce all original documents along with self-attested photocopies.
