Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Written Examination (Computer Based Test): Objective type multiple-choice questions covering General Knowledge, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Technical Knowledge related to Medical Laboratory Technology. This is the primary screening test with merit-based shortlisting.

1. Skill/Practical Test: Shortlisted candidates from written exam will be called for practical assessment to test their laboratory skills, handling of equipment, sample collection techniques, and basic laboratory procedures. Marks obtained in this test will be added to written exam marks.

1. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying both written and practical tests will be called for verification of original certificates including educational qualifications, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificates (if any), and other relevant documents.

1. Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates will undergo medical fitness examination by the designated medical board to ensure they meet the prescribed physical standards for the post.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on combined marks of written examination and skill test, subject to document verification and medical fitness. Merit list will be prepared category-wise.
